why am i afraid to tell people when a sound bothers me

it’s the same when i ask people not to touch me
pls respect the fact that some noises set me on edge and certain people can do that too, and touching certain places on my body as well
why can’t you just respect it when i ask you to not touch me or when i say i don’t like when you touch my neck/shoulders
