TENGWAR GIVEAWAY THING

HEY KIDS 

so as you know i’m hitting the rough financial time of the year again- i’m a college student getting ready for law school and in the next few weeks i have to somehow drum up approximately nine-hundreddollars to sign up for the spring’s LSAT prep course before it fills up, which it always does, on top of all the gifts i want to get my family for the holidays and paying spring tuition, etc. so to make ends meet, especially during this rough time, i had spoken on my blog about painting people’s names in tengwar, otherwise known as ‘that cool elvish language/script from the lord of the rings.’ you know what i’m talking about, right?

i sat down and took the time to learn the letters and syllables of tengwar, then spent hours practicing the writing to get my own writing style of the characters, so i think i’m doing a pretty good job. it’s something unique and fun and a pretty good conversation starter- so what i want to do is open an etsy shop selling custom tengwar creations hand-painted onto canvas panels! you could hang them, put them on your work desk, whatever you like! it doesn’t just have to be a name- i’d be happy to work with someone for more complicated translations and orders, and all pricing is negotiable as i’m just a 20 year old kid trying to learn the ways of life and fending for myself out in this big world.

so i made the shop! look at me go! it’s rough but it’ll suit my needs for now- only thing is, i can’t offer a product for sale without an example of what i’m selling, right? that’s where you come from!

i’m gonna do this quick little giveaway. it’ll last until i get home tomorrow from work which is around this time so, maybe 24 hours, perhaps a little more? all you have to do is

so please!! help me get the word out!! and, if you’re interested in perhaps actually buying one of these creations, PLEASE feel free to let me know- the etsy listing has a lot of details but i’m more than happy to discuss this with everyone, i’m nothing if not willing to work hard for the outcome i’m trying to reach and. i like making things for people so that’s also a super benefit- painting is extremely cathartic for me in the midst of this chaos, so if i could use it as a stress relief while hopefully also using it to get me into my law school prep course, that would be such a blessing. i want to share a passion with you as best i can. i really enjoy doing this.
